Greetings Parents and Students,

      Welcome to Greensboro Middle School.  As we embark upon a new school year, it is my hope that you are excited as I am for what lies ahead of us.  With each new year comes changes and challenges, and I know we will rise to the occasion and meet every one of them head on.  As the counselor of Greensboro Middle School, I adhere to the Alabama Comprehensive School Counseling and Guidance Program.  This program is an essential integrated component of the total instructional program through which students have opportunities for academic, career, and personal/social development.  In this regard, the school counseling and guidance program involves a planned, purposeful, and sequential program of activities.  Comprehensive school counseling and guidance programs are data-driven by student needs and provide outcome-based accountability measures that align the school counseling and guidance program with the school's overall academic mission.  I will provide services to students individually, in small groups, and in classroom settings.  I will also be available for parent meetings/conferences.  Again, I am excited about this school year, and I look forward to working with students, parents, and all other stakeholders  If at any time you have questions or concerns, my door is always open.  Here's to a great Greensboro Middle School year!
